NATA AWARENESS SESSION
The National Aptitude Test in Architecture (NATA) conducted by Council of Architecture COA measures the aptitude of the applicant for specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. The test measures drawing and observation skills, sense of proportion, aesthetic sensitivity and critical thinking ability that have been acquired over a long period of time, and that are related to specific field of study, i.e. Architecture. REBUILD MALABAR

Participation in post flood mapping activities where effectively carried out by students of Al-Salama Institute of Architecture under the guidance of various government organisations. The main objective of the activities was to provide extension of technical know-how to reconstruct the houses damaged during the floods and future policy directives for mitigation. MATTANCHERRY - FORT COCHIN SKETCHPEDITION

Young minds were taken on a field trip. This activity brought about a great change in the student’s basic understanding of what architecture is. This sketchpedition provided an opportunity for hands-on intervention to recreate the rich heritage in the form of sketches. WALLART AT NILAMBUR RAILWAY STATION
A visually pleasing art installation was created by the students of ASIA, for the passengers waiting area at the Nilambur railway station, under the guidance of Artist Aboobacker and Er.Najila to make public space more aesthetically positive. PUTHUCODE AGRAHARAM

PUTHUCODE AGRAHARAM Documentation was introduced as a conscientious method of learning design. Students were directed to undertake detailed study of an existing Agraharamlocated at Puthucode, Palakkad in conjunction with their residence design. Study of Agraharam, a type of residence, intended to make students aware of the close link between function and spatial design.  They had to do a comprehensive study, right from history, layout and planning of the local community to the construction details of a single dwelling unit.
